The Derby Half Step can be placed in front of a steep step to reduce the height, providing greater mobility. The large surface area allows the user to take a full step onto the platform and allows them to maintain balance and coordination before moving to the next step. A rubber mat covers the step to prevent moisture from increasing the risk of slips and falls. The four feet are adjustable to ensure that the step can be levelled for use.
